Falling In Love With 'Azfar Rehman' as 'Pervez'

By Abia Gill

We all know this cute guy from ‘Janam Jali’ to ‘Khoobsurat’ to ‘Kesi Ye Paheli’ and now what an exclusive character he played in the drama serial ‘Nazar-e-Baad’ where we are in love with his acting skills as Pervez who does black voodoo to get the love of his life. The character and storyline is so amazing that one could not resist the play at all but would love to switch on for some real day treat. Azfar is promising to the character in Nazar-e-Baad and has done justice to the role by performing such an epic role play, his love and agony simultaneously for the girl has aggravated his soul to the core and encouraged his guts to lead him in the world of black magic.

Let’s focus on his character as Pervez, the guy who was initially a hesitant boy, a struggler and a low key person with little needs and so much to think about, to settle  his life and family and stand on his feet to be a successful man , however due to less resources he could not meet his ends need. Apart from all these issues he was inclined towards his cousin Maham but unfortunately she was in love with other guy, his passion and love and a rebel act to get her took its toll by converting him to some other kind of human where a man meets the other world. His audacity to grab the tools of black magic and be someone who actually holds a brave heart to get down with the voodoo mess.

The character in Nazar-e-Baad tells a story itself of a person who is socially deprived and wants to marry with his cousin Maham but due to his state of struggling for success and Maham’s zero feelings for him made him bound to vengeance. Azfar has did the job at its best and grabbed every single attention which makes us crave and anticipated to wait for another episode.

We wish Azfar Rehman all the best in future and would love to see him in entirely different character. In recent episodes Pervez has made a deal with the devil for much money and power , the power he urge to get Maham the only determination he had to get her so that he could belittle those who used to point fingers at him. Let’s see what new and adventurous this play would be.

Nazar-e-Baad screens on every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:00 pm only on Hum Tv.
