Drama Serial ‘Waada’ Bids Adieu
By Abia Gill
And this most liked and popular serial atlast bids farewell, the last episode led a happy ending although in between we thought that Sumaira would never forgive Shahab of whatever he did but such a brave and courageous woman she is that once again Sumaira forgot everything and gives another chance to her life, her family and most of all her relationship with Shahab. The last episode actually revealed Jaana’s infidelity and her unfaithful intentions towards Shahab it was his wealth and it has always been about money and security in Jaana’s life that made her near Shahab to win his heart with her clever acts so that she could get all of his wealth. On the other hand Shahab did love his family very much and most of all his daughter Tania but it was scam that he was trapped so bad that he could not help but caught in the middle.
Sumaira’ character depicts a woman with courage and tolerance,
how she manages to keep her family i: e her inlaws and her own family intact.
Sumaira never let herself break infront of her daughter but has always chinned
up and stood strong no matter how weak she felt in the entire situation but it
was her bravery that she confronted the flood of mixed-up feelings, Sumaira
never shared her feelings with Tania or never forbid her to meet his dad. The
great thing about this play that it has got our intentions intact and never had
we distracted, however some of the scenes were so captivating that one could
learn lessons to live life by its rules.
Shaista Lodhi’s character was marvelous and well performed
she has definitely poured life into the character and made its audience really
feel for her and some of us got so touchy that one could not deny to not be at
Team Sumaira. Faisal Qureshi did a wonderful job playing Shahab, he literally
put magic in the character and has make us feel the situations he went through.
Saboor Aly played a different character apart from all the crying ones and has
done justice with the role, she has done an awesome job playing a negative
character and we surely would want her to do such catchy characters in future.
The beautiful original soundtrack sung by Falak Shabir is a total addiction, such a beautiful and spell bound track with sweet lyrics that suits the situation of the drama to its extreme. We will surely miss the play.
