Chai, Cola, Coffee. What Do you Prefer?
By Abia Gill
So enough of the meems and trolling over this beverage war, as we are already over load now with the company advertisement for Chai , Coffee and Cola trending. But one thing that keeps bugging me is that how can some soda be compared to the legendary Chai? There is always a soft corner for Tea in our hearts. I know when you sit under the umbrella for hours with your loved ones, the instant beverage that pops in mind is Chai and the combination of samosa and pakoray will always compliment the blend with Chai rather any other beverage.
No offense, but whats the commotion all about, its just the matter of having some snacks that only goes with tea, so i know all the tea lovers who got offended with the bad marketing by soda and coffee companies **Sighss**. Feelings hurt much!!! take a chill pill peeps, and have tea, be it rainiy days or sister evening talk, be it husband and wife argument or some relatives coming over, Chai was never that good without some snacks. I have always thought if all the 5 star hotels could change their menu from Hi-Tea to Hi-Coffee , but then i told myself how can it be possible to take samosa with coffee or have biscuits with it?
And my mind took me places when I sipped my evening cuppa. Nothing makes it better as tea triggers your immune system and prevent the heart diseases. But I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings , as some people are addicted to coffee and sodas and holds their own opinions. It was a wrong choice of marketing and to compare the legendary chai that is Pakistan's best beverage to some soda.
People going crazy addicted over sodas and other fuzzy sugary drinks that may erode the metabolism and immune system , however I don't think there is any harm having one cup of a morning energizer i;e your tea, at work and at friend's gathering I know my Chai would stable my mood swings, my headaches and refreshes to the core.
So which beverage do you support? Comment below and share us with your views if this beverage war is fair enough or not.
