The Real Guitar Maestro - Amir Zaki Passes Away at 49
Yet another Rock legend after Chris Cornell, but this time
in Pakistan, has left us in grief by leaving this world all of a sudden. The
man who gave us the melodious tunes of "Mera Pyar Tum Hi Ho" has
passed away suffering a heart failure.
Pakistan's ace guitarist was renowned all around the world
for his magical fingers that ran through the guitar strings harmoniously.
Zaki's demise is definitely a shock for the people who are aware of his profound
guitar skills.
Being the discovery of Alamgir at the age of 16, Zaki was a
gifted artist and had traveled around the world to showcase his talent to the
rest of the world. After working with the Vital Signs for a short span of time,
the guitarist left the band and started his own solo career. His debut album
was called 'Signature' that gave us "Mera Pyar Tum Hi Ho".
The musician died of a cardiac arrest this Friday at the age
of 49 since he was already having health issues.
All I'm left with are the songs he wrote for me and the few photos we had together. Missing you dearly my friend. #AmirZaki #RoughCut pic.twitter.com/JtRlRXQrct— Hadiqa Kiani (@Hadiqa_Kiani) June 2, 2017
