Is Saba Qamar the right choice as Qandeel Baloch?

Well, well, well!!! Say hello to the newest look of the very talented and now internationally renowned Pakistani actress Saba Qamar. She is going to play the character of late Qandeel Baloch in an upcoming biopic called BAAGHI. The drama serial has been written by Shazia Khan while the screenplay has been arranged by Umera Ahmed. Directed by Farooq Rind the serial will be aired on Urdu1 very soon.

There is no doubt that the Pakistani actress Saba Qamar is talented enough to pull on any look or character on the screen. She has recently made herself known and skills praised in the neighboring country as well through her Bollywood debut HINDI MEDIUM.

Yet some of us take a minute to pause and think if it really is Saba Qamar who is going to be playing Qandeel Baloch at its fullest as she was. I mean as chubby and a bit low height as Qandeel was, regardless of her being the exceptional case of boldness and straightforward, will Saba be able to pull this off?  I mean it is not that the facial features of both do not match but at least the physique should have. Also when it comes to the looks, the ones that Qandeel carried were a bit inclined towards the shrewd or sharper lines. However Saba's face features are innocent with a sprinkle of softer tones. The rest will do fine as we can blindly trust our dear actress, how excellent and brilliant she is to mould herself in any vessel.

Anyways since Saba's brilliancy needs not to be questioned we are anxiously waiting for the drama serial to reach our TV screens soon as it is all set to be aired and is the most anticipated serial uptil now.
