Things on my newsfeed over the weekend
1. Omar
Mukhtar – Stupid Things (Official Music Video) “Pakistani JohnMayer”
This young lad’s video “Stupid Things” was the first thing I saw on my facebook newsfeed. A friend of mine who actually shared this video was calling Omar Mukhtar as Pakistan’s John Meyer. This was what actually got me interested in watching the video myself. And after I watched the video and after a little bit of a research about this new guy I came to learn that he is actually one talented boy from Lahore. He has been in this thing for a while now but he is really doing good.
There are times when one would get to say, “aj
kal to bachay bhi shuru hogaye hain”. But there are other times when his songs
and lyrics might sound a little bit of cheesy. Yet he has gained it to some
extent. Anyways as Pakistanis we should always encourage the young talent in
our country.
2. Bachi Burger ( A restaurant in
Lahore)
The second thing that I came across this
morning was the picture of a restaurant in Lahore with a unique name. Bachi
Burger. Although sarcastic the name tempts the audiences, viewers and visitors
in a double mist. Boys would go GA GA over what to choose from the two Bachi or
a Burger :P which one is their favorite. Hahaha this one really pulled me off
and I giggled at once after looking at the picture.

Ayeza Khan’s reply to a hateful
comment
A few days back when Ayeza Khan posted a picture of her daughter on her instagram account, some girl posted a hateful comment about Ayeza Khan's daughter. But the lady had such a grace to reply her back in those wise words that could teach a lesson to anyone spreading hatred.
4. A Rabi Peerzada video of Rashk-e-Qamar seemingly insulting Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
This remake of the melodious qawwali by the legend himself Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is the most horrendous thing I saw on social media over the weekend. I mean why Rabi, why? This is just too much to insult an epic piece of music in its own sense. Let's put the song aside, but cananyone imagine that a lady killer would be dressed up in that attire. I mean come on lady, if you're mocking a legendary song atleast you could have come up wearing something good or not good atleast creative. But in her case the creativity has gone right out of the window. And by the way whats with that big snake in the video? Rumor has it that its Rabi's own pet. I only have 3 big HA HA HAs for this one. That's it. No more comments.
5. Raja Jee by Saad Kaiser
This was the most funny thing I saw and heard on facebook last week. The song is not sung but spoken or I must say rapped by these guys or maybe one guy Saad Kaiser. But whatever the theme is he rocked the song. Its about all the 'Pindi boys' out there. Saad Kaiser you rock man!!!
6. The live BBC interview went wrong
This was seriously what made my day man!. An amazing video about a dad who is having a live interview in a video call from home and suddenly his kids interrupt. So refreshing it was.
